Furby-style animatronic plush — OEM & custom development
The reason animatronic plush is hard is not the servos — it is the interface between the mechanism and the fabric. A jaw that opens 20 degrees tears a seam at 22. An eyelid linkage that works on the bench binds once the head is filled. Buyers who come to us usually have a mechanism that works and a body that will not cooperate, or the reverse. We build both in one model.
Who usually comes to us
Interactive toy companies
You know the category and the channel; you need a factory that can hold mechanical tolerances in a soft body at volume.
IP revival projects
A character with recognition and no current product. We rebuild the movement and voice for a new generation without losing what made it recognisable.
Film, stage and licensing
Practical characters that have to perform on camera, then be manufactured as a retail version of the same mechanism.
Premium gift and collector brands
A limited mechanical character at a price point that supports real engineering.
The four things that decide whether it works
Fabric clearance, measured in millimetres
Every moving part needs a gap that accounts for pile height, seam allowance and how much the filling pushes back. This is calculated, not discovered in the third sample round.
Linkage geometry over servo torque
A well-placed linkage halves the torque needed and doubles the life of the gearbox. Buying a stronger servo to fix a bad linkage is how products get loud and expensive.
Motion that reads as emotion
Speed curves, overshoot and idle micro-motion. A blink that is linear looks robotic; the same blink with an ease-in reads as alive. This is firmware and animation authoring, not mechanics.
Serviceability after the seam is closed
Battery, motor and firmware access designed before the body is finalised — otherwise every warranty repair is a destroyed unit.

Two ways to develop with us
White-label a proven mechanism
An existing animatronic platform with new fabric, colourway and voice pack — no mechanical development.
Best for: Fastest and safest first order.
New character on a known mechanism
Your character on an existing servo layout: new pattern, new expression set, new firmware personality.
Best for: Where most brand projects land.
New mechanism from scratch
New degrees of freedom, new sensor set, a mechanism that has not existed before — mechanical design, tooling, certification and production.
Best for: For a product that has to demo differently.

Bring the AI stack your market needs
Our firmware is decoupled from any single provider. Depending on where you sell, your data-residency rules and your budget, we connect the device to the right LLM, speech and IoT cloud. These are the kinds of services we have integrated.
For China
- Baidu AI Cloud Solution sales partner Cloud AI and voice services
- Mainstream Chinese LLMs Several to choose from, per project
- Speech recognition & synthesis Major speech engines
- IoT provisioning & branded app Device setup and app under your brand
- Audio / video storage & delivery Audio / video cloud for content
For global markets
- Leading overseas LLMs Chosen per market and language
- Realtime voice dialogue Realtime voice models
- Neural speech synthesis Speech recognition and natural voices
- Device connectivity & fleet management Connect and manage devices at scale

Questions buyers ask
Are you affiliated with Furby or Hasbro?
No. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or a supplier to Furby or Hasbro. We engineer animatronic plush for other brands and do not reproduce protected character designs or trade dress.
How many servos can you fit in a 25 cm plush?
Typically four to six without changing the silhouette: two eyelids, jaw, and one or two for head or arms. More than that means a larger body or a smaller servo class, and both change the cost and the noise floor. We size it against the motion you actually need.
Why is our current sample so loud?
Usually linkage geometry and gear train, not the servo itself — the motor is working against an inefficient lever. Changing the linkage or the gear ratio fixes it at the design stage; adding damping alone only masks it.
Can the firmware be updated after shipping?
Yes, over BLE from the companion app, with a factory fallback. Motion profiles and voice packs are the two things most often tuned after the first retail feedback, so we build the update path in from the start.
Tell us what you want to build
The category, your market, a quantity and whether an IP is involved is plenty for a first answer. Samples available; proven products are available as OEM, custom ones as ODM. Development and sample arrangements are agreed together once we understand the project.
